New York Comic Con attendee cosplays as every Johnny Depp character at once.
the bright/rim lighting (i assume that’s what you’re after) is
-one screen layer (or can be some other additive layer idk) is just regular painted rim light
-duplicate that layer
-lock the transparency and color it whatever color (reddish orange usually for yellow light)
-unlock the transparency and gaussian blur it
I was wondering…
Sorry for the lack of art things from me lately!
With the acknowledgement that I really need to promote myself more, I’ve been hard at work fixing up my showreel which has been long, LOOOOOOONG overdue for a rehaul with all new pieces to be added to it.
I like to divide my showreel up between original characters, fanart and “random” stuff. I’ve got most of the fanart sorted out save for one piece (The Time Travellers artwork) which I want to redo as I know I can do better on it. The same goes for a couple of the random pieces which could have some extra detail added to them and then comes the realisation that it has been a while since I’ve drawn anything OC-related so a couple of my own characters are due to have a few sketches and cleaned-up artworks produced around them.
What I’m trying to say is that I AM working on several drawings! It’s just that none of them are finished yet. But when I’m ready… prepare for an incoming avalanche…
This is FAN MADE!!!
Good grief, the animation in this amazing! So close to the film it’s scary! Can’t imagine the amount of effort that went into this.

Inks: Heather Campbell
Colors and Cover: Maren Marmulla
OhmyGod!OhMyGod! Hilarious and beautifully drawn as always but I was not expecting that kind of a cliffhanger!! *SCREAMS*
I went to London to see Miss Saigon yesterday which was pretty exciting as I didn’t know a damn thing about the musical other than it is set during the Vietnam war and there is a scene with a helicopter in it! I’ve also never been inside the Prince Edward Theatre before either -it’s bigger than it looks and it’s corridors are like a maze!
It’s pretty rare for me to go see a musical totally fresh and since I will be mentioning the ending in this post, I’ll place the rest under a cut in case there is anyone else reading this who also wants to remain unspoiled!
