Please, excuse the silence from me but I’ve been in Scotland the past few weeks enjoying the scenery! -Which I should of mentioned before I left but there you go.
I’ll eventually get around to posting a couple photos of said scenery and hopefully get back to drawing things soon! The ideas keep on coming even when I’m on holiday…
A recent commission from “ark17” on DeviantArt to draw seven characters from Cirque Du Soleil which was long, tiring but immensely satisfying to do!
Top-to-bottom/left-to-right: The Pierrot Clown and The Ballerina from "La Nouba", The Male White Singer also from "La Nouba", The Singer in White from "Alegria", Singer Plume from "Mystere", The Target from "Quidam", and Moon Face from "O".
Many thanks to ark17 for commissioning me and many thanks to the blog vivelecirquedusoleil for providing me with so many reference photos and video clips that I could make sure to get the detail as accurate as possible!
I know I’m not the only one who pictured Kevin’s entrance in “The Debate” looking like this.
Hiram McDaniels -Literally the five-headed dragon of Night Vale.
I quite enjoyed “Maleficent” even if it was a bit CGI heavy. I rather suspect though that the reason it was made was because someone read/saw Wicked and cried, “I have an idea!!” (I’ve also heard that Disney couldn’t get the rights to film “Wicked” so they made this instead but that may just be a rumour)
PS. In case anyone points this out, I know that Maleficent gets her staff after she loses her wings but I just wanted it there to mirror Elphaba’s broomstick!
I finally got around to purchasing the “The Debate” episode of Welcome to Night Vale.
Kevin’s scene was pure gold!
